More than 30 percent of phishing emails are opened, but only three percent get reported to management or IT, according to Verizon’s 2016 Data Breach Investigations Report (DBIR).
But when employees are trained on how to spot phishing emails, and then get tested with mock phishing emails, the percent who fall victim decreases with each round, writes Maria Korolov of CSO Online.
