MediaPro Earns Top International Summit Creative Award wins Summit Silver Award

MediaPro Earns it’s 4th Top International Award, from Summit Creative Awards

BOTHELL, WA – MediaPro, a leading provider of eLearning products and services, has added to its list of 100+ learning excellence awards with the Summit International Awards (SIA) announcement of a Silver award for the interactive training course, “Preventing Phishing.” Phishing is defined as attempts by hackers to get users to click on malware links within an email, designed to appear innocuous. The course is one of hundreds that MediaPro has created that address the regulatory training needs in the Data Protection and Security Awareness category.
Entries in 20 major categories are judged against a stringent set of standards. During its blind judging (entering company names withheld) the international Board of Judges search for and identify innovative and creative concepts, strong executions, and the ability to communicate and persuade. Winners were selected in a wide-range of categories from print and broadcast to emerging and social media.
Winning a Summit Creative Award is a significant accomplishment in one’s career, let alone four. With vetted judges, tough judging criteria, blind judging processes, and strict bylaws limiting winners, only deserving entries receive recognition,” said Jocelyn Luciano, Executive Director for the Summit International Awards (SIA). “The creative work this year was outstanding. Watching the judges debate the details of individual entries in the run-off for the top spots was inspiring.”

More recently, they won a 2013 Gold award for the animated training video, “Suspicious Email in Your Inbox” for Eli Lilly, and a Bronze award for Interactive Media Training, “Privacy and Information Management” for Western Union.
The 2014 award for “Preventing Phishing” represents something new, however. Director of Product Strategy Tom Pendergast explains, “This is the first time we have won an award for a course within our new Adaptive Security Library, which is a flexible modular approach to course structuring. This module is just one powerful element among similarly great content within the library. My team and I are very gratified to be recognized by Summit and the judges.”
