MediaPro Launches New Role-Based Corporate Privacy Training

Bothell, WA. – September 22, 2015 – MediaPro, recognized by Gartner as a leader in the Magic Quadrant for Security Awareness Training Vendors, announced the launch of its new role-based privacy training for organizations looking to change employee behavior and build and maintain a risk-aware workforce. This new library of specialized training content for role variations expands on and complements MediaPro’s award-winning Adaptive Privacy Library™, Adaptive Security Library™, and Compliance Training Library™ curriculum, which contain more than 8 hours of interactive courseware leveraging MediaPro’s highly flexible Adaptive Architecture™.
The new training allows all employees to receive a single, consistent message about general privacy principles.  Additionally, employees who have specialized information handling needs, like Human Resources, Sales and Marketing and Call Centers, can also receive education pertaining to their particular area of expertise.
“It’s important that our customers are able to maximize the relevance of training content while minimizing the ‘seat time’ employees spend in training,” said Steve Conrad, CEO of MediaPro. “Our innovative role-based privacy curriculum allows exactly that, while providing an adaptive learning experience for those that need it.”
Role-Based Privacy Awareness Training CourseEquipped with these new role-based solutions, organizations will no longer be forced to educate employees on both general and role-based privacy content by delivering multiple courses or giving all employees one lengthy training. This new approach to privacy training allows companies to meet all their business-related goals related to privacy education, delivers the right content to the right people, and dramatically decreases time spent tracking and administering different courses.
“In a business climate where increasingly specialized employees are expected to handle highly sensitive information, our role-based privacy training is positioned to meet strong demand and continues to respond to our customers’ market needs,” said Tom Pendergast, Chief Strategist; Security, Privacy, and Compliance at MediaPro.
MediaPro’s role-based privacy solution was recently awarded a ‘Best in Class’ designation in the ‘Training/Vocational’ category by the Interactive Media Awards™ (IMA). The ‘Best in Class’ award is the highest honor bestowed by the IMA and reflects the best in planning, professionalism, and execution. The IMAs, open to organizations involved in designing and developing websites, recognizes the highest standards in website design and development.
